News & Updates February 2010 Good news this month - we had Brie & Harry tested for PHPT and both came back Negative. Together with Karma (Negative by Descent), our future breeding stock will all be Negative for this nasty disease! 20 November 2009 Today I picked up the newest member of our family from the airport. Karma is a real delight, and I am so happy to have her. Thanks to Trevor & Cheri, she will surely do you proud! 6 February 2009 Another terribly sad day today. In a freak accident, Paris got out of the yard, and in typical Amstaff fashion, headed straight for the main road :( The consequences of which, took her from us. Michael is absolutely devestated. We all miss you terribly. RIP sweet angel. 25 August 2008 Today is a very sad day. We lost Darcy rather unexpectedly. He had been slowing down over the last few weeks, and then this afternoon Darcy seemed out of breath. We locked the other dogs away and left him to rest. When I went to put the dogs to bed a little later, I knew something was wrong, because Darcy was not there yelling for his dinner. He had passed away in his favourite resting spot. I think he may have had a heart attack. I sent him to be cremated and he will be back home at the end of the week. RIP Darcy Doodle. We will miss you. 12 August 2008 After reading a thread about Breeder Websites on DOL I decided it was time for a change, so here we are. I am currenly rebuilding the entire site, which is much more time consuming than I remember it being last time! I hope everyone likes the new look. Its not quite as dark as the last one, with a bit of frill and some nice easy on the eye colour schemes. Simple, classic, professional looking. Well I think so anyway. Some exciting news - I just recieved by first ever interstate judging appointment, for 2010 in Melbourne. It's a way off yet, but I am very excited! We are currently painting Toby's room in preperation for his new bedroom furniture which is due in about 2 weeks time. I have bought a whole stack of Pooh decorations, and I will post lots of photos when its all done. Have to go out and buy some new carpet first, the old stuff is a zillion years old. Not much else to report at this time. Re-doing this website has made me all sentimental, and I want another Lhasa to show, and I miss my dogs that have gone. Oh well, I have the next generation here to work with, and thats a challenge unto itself! We are also waiting on girls to come into season, ever so patiently :D Thats it for now, stay strong!
