In other words - whatever I damn well want! LOL

Time for some new news :D

First fun piece of news was MISSING my FIRST judging appointment because....wait for it.....I was in HOSPITAL! Why you may ask. Well it started in January. For my birthday I decided I wanted some Budgerigars again. I grew up with birds and still love them. So out we went and bought a large indoor aviary, then to the markets and bought 4 young birds. They were great.

Then I got a cold. The cough just got worse and worse, to the point I could not breath. I was on multiple courses of anti-biotics, which did nothing. One morning I went to get out of bed and the muscle on my left side TORE. I was in agony. Off to emergency we went, I could hardly move, breath, cough - it was all agony. They thought I had a blood clot in my lung, but tests ruled that out and they just sent me home.

Still could not breath, especially when I did things. At the end I could not walk from one room to another, or carry Toby, without gasping for breath. Physically gasping. It was NOT fun.

Finally my GP said to go back to emergency. This was not normal for me, I've never had breathing issues before. So back to emergency we went! They wouldnt let me go home!

A gazillion tests later (fun ones like bronchoscopy's - if you want to know ask me!) and I have something called Extrinsic Allergic Alveolitis. Basically I have become allergic to my BIRDS! Well any birds. I am no longer allowed to own, or go close to birds ever again. If I do I could die! They make my lungs shut down.

So that was such fun, I was meant to judge while I was locked up in hospital on oxygen!

BUT Finally I got to judge, down in Wagga Wagga. It was so much fun, I had a blast, had some stunning dogs and a great time. The Southern Region Club was a pleasure to judge for!
My BIG winner was a stunning Japanese Spitz, who went on to win BIS! What a thrill! Runner Up in Group went to a beautiful Shar Pei.

I had a great time judging in December! I had some lovely dogs and some extra hard decisions to make on the day! My BIG was a Keeshond and RU was a Japanese Spitz.
